Offshore locations were the preferred solution to many online casino firms, but now it seems that a North American alternative is becoming a reality. Although, Ontario is promoting an anti online gambling approach –at least when it comes to advertising online casino sites-, there are other parts of Canada where online casino operators are more than welcomed. Currently, there are more than 300 different online casino brands working from The Kahnawake First Nation Mohawks in Quebec, and The Alexander First Nation is joining the party. Both The Kahnawake First Nation and The Alexander First Nation are able to license online casino permits to companies working under their tribe's sovereignty. The Alexander First Nation announced recently the formation of an online gambling commission that will offer licensees for international online casino operators, and will form an online casino business model similar to the one currently working for The Kahnawake First Nation.
Online casino firms are able to operate from a North American location, with a North American market, while serving to other parts of the globe. With the new legal situation in the United States, the focus on the online casino industry now shifts towards Asia and Europe, but online casino operators still want to work in the same conditions they are used to. Who thought the solution will be hidden just a few Kilometer above – in Canada. There are 44 sovereign communities in Canada, and that means many different options, if indeed these communities favor the online gambling industry. Related News:
