Las Vegas is one of best known cities in the world. It is as American as apple pie with its many land based casinos lining the Strip with their glittering lights and yummy buffets. But as the online casino industry grows larger and larger and more and more people are gambling at their favorite online casino it is only reasonable to imagine that customer volume should slowly drop with the growing surge in online casino users world wide until one day online casino traffic surpasses that of land casinos.
The effects of the online casino industry on that of the land casinos isn't clear and no real academic or commercial study has been made yet the growing business in the online casino industry has raised some concerns in the land casino business. Some online casino experts believe that the industry will have a symbiotic affect on both industries and as one grows the other is sure to follow.
As the global market develops Las Vegas is slowly loosing power not only to the online casino industry but also to new and growing gambling cities one of these is Macau, the only city in China to allow gambling and currently Las Vegas's' fastest growing and closest competitor. The 21st century brings with it many change to the traditional gambling industry as more and more of the global business is being dispersed to online casino websites and to different cities around the world.
