Many pundits believe Green Bay is going to be real hard-pressed to finish above .500. Considering they play in a division with the likes of Minnesota (a lot of experts feel the Vikings are a potential Super Bowl hopeful) and what will likely be an above average Detroit Lions team, The Packers getting to .500 may indeed be a task.
"Clearly this is a team full of uncertainties," commented Thomas Jensen, Marketing and Media Coordinator for Gambling 911. "And the current scenario points to a struggling season. We at Gambling 911 are somewhat surprised by the favorable odds placed on this team and why their numbers are not closer to that of the Bears (+625)."
Safety, defensive tackle, outside linebacker and cornerback are among the positions still up in the air because of injuries and other uncertainties. Offensively, Bubba Franks, the only legitimate tight end on the roster, is unsigned, and both guard positions are still up for grabs heading into the second preseason game Saturday night at Buffalo.
